PrerequisiteENG 120 This course is a study of African-Caribbean literature, encompassing the West Indian Island and adjacent countries of South American - Guyana, Suriname, French Guiana and Belize in Central American. Emphasis will be on the diverse linguistic and cultural influences on the prose and poetry of Caribbean literatures. Study will also be on the writing of expatriates of the Caribbean.
