This course is designed to assist new students in making a successful adaptation to the college environment and enhancing basic study skills. The course emphasis is on improving studentsacademic, social and interpersonal skills through introduction to the life and study skills essential for academic success. This course is designed to increase student's awareness and use of resources both within and outside of the college (meets two hours per week for seven and one-half weeks).
