Provides an understanding of the fundamentals of the preparation of sterile dosage formulas. Topics include routes of drug administration, dosage form design, good manufacturing practices, injections, and sterile fl uids. Lab exercises are designed to provide skill in compounding techniques, preparing solutions and using aseptic techniques with appropriate labeling and documentation.
