The clinical course operationalizes the development and implementation of plan(s) of care to promote, maintain and restore optimum health for diverse clients experiencing alterations in specifi ed life function(s); protective, fl uid/gas transport, elimination, nutrition/metabolism and growth and development. The student will apply management principles and use therapeutic communication while providing care to client(s) in a variety of clinical settings: acute care, ambulatory and community based settings. (Prerequisite: NURS 1030, 1040, 1041. Corequisite: NURS 1050)
