A review of numbers, fractions, decimals and percentage with an introduction of calculations used in pharmacy practice. An emphasis will be placed on accuracy and the calculations involving alligation, ratio, fl ow rates, dilutions, proportions, and enlarging or reducing formulae, and dosage calculations. The student will learn household, Apothecary and metric equivalents and how to interpret and calculate dosages from prescriptions and physician orders. F, Su 2 hours lecture / 2 hours laboratory
