An elementary course in the essentials of French with a strong video emphasis. This course provides the opportunity for students to experience , via video, the richness and diversity of the French language, culture and people. Stress is placed upon listening, speaking, reading, writing and culture. The process of oral communication will be highlighted, including how to initiate and continue a conversation in French for a few minutes using vocabulary related to, but not limited to, greetings, the classroom, physical attributes, pastimes and family members.
