This course will cover advanced programming techniques and fi le processing. Tape and disk fi le handling, programming effi ciencies, and access methods for sequential, indexed, relative, and direct access fi elds will be discussed. In addition, operating system, multiprogramming, and memory management concepts will be explored. (Prerequisite: CPSC 1350 or equivalent) S 3 hours lecture / 2 hours laboratory
