This course introduces the students to the fundamentals of surgical assisting, microbial control procedures, and safe handling of equipment and supplies. Contact lens fitting and patient instruction techniques will also be covered. COREQUISITES: OPH 130C*, OPH 153*. Thirty lecture and 30 lab hours per semester.
