An introductory study of the basic principles of atomic structure, radioactivity, magnetism, electricity, and mechanics. These fundamental aspects of radiation physics which are required to understand the nature and production of x-rays. PREREQUISITES: RAD 113C*, RAD 200*, MATH 1010 or 1130. CO-REQUISITES: RAD 122*, RAD 211C*. Three lecture hours per week.
