Topics include sampling, frequency distributions, elementary probability, binomial distributions, normal distributions, and uniform distributions. Tests of hypotheses and significance of data and simple correlation. Intended primarily for business majors. PREREQUISITE: Two years of high school algebra and an acceptable placement score or DSPM 0850 and high school geometry or MATH 0990 (applies to students under 1989 Admission Requirements).
