This course is designed to present the fundamental principles of Sonography to the entry level sonography student and identify internal structures, organs, and vasculature utilizing sonographic cross sectional anatomy concepts. The sonographic protocols discussed during this course are those that form the foundation of the clinical competencies that students must fulfill in this course and during clinical practicum courses. A detailed study of abdominal cross sectional anatomy with "in class" scanningis given to reinforce the anatomical criteria being studied. PREREQUISITE: UST 205* CO-REQUISITES: UST 240*, UST 211C*, UST 220*
