An introduction to physical examinations and health assessments. Topics include the history taking, physical exam of the pediatric and adult patient, illness and injury prevention assessments, and fundamental use of physical exam equipment. Emphasis is on accurate focused and general physical examinations necessary for EMS professionals. PREREQUISITE: AHC 115 and AHC 130 or permission of instructor. One lecture and two lab hours per week.
