Course in applying the principles of usability to the design, development, and improvement of World Wide Web pages. The course will include an introduction to usability and will focus on the principles of usability applied to page design, content design, site design, Intranet design, design for users with disabilities, and design for international users. Throughout the course, the principles of usability will be supported with facts and data obtained from real users. Prerequisite: IT 145 or CT 165/IT 165.
