Prerequisite: SUR 1204 Plane Surveying and SUR 1213 Introduction to CAD and Surveying Software Offered on demand This course prepares the student with the background needed to plan, execute, and analyze a GPS survey The student will learn the theoretical background and the use of survey-grade GPS equipment and software Mission planning, field projects, postprocessing, reports, topographic maps, NGS datasheets, monument recovery, and the future of GPS in civilian applications will be integral parts of this course
