Prerequisite: None Offered in spring semester of odd years Students will study general transmission/transaxle diagnosis, maintenance and adjustment, in- and off-vehicle repair, removal, disassembly and assembly, oil pumps and converters, gear trains, bushings and electronic transmissions Lab is designed to allow students sufficient hands-on application to perform practical work in applying theory learned in lecture classes Students will be assigned vehicles to repair in a manner designed to provide adequate practical application in all areas of automotive repair
