A developmental math course that stresses the basics of mathematical concepts. The course is designed to increase the student's knowledge of basic math in order to be successful in Introduction to College Mathematics. It does not count toward a Technical Certificate. Placement is determined by score on the mathematics section of the ACT, ASSET, or COMPASS exams. Students scoring 12 or less on the ACT, 25 or less on the ASSET Elementary Algebra test, or 18 or less on the COMPASS Pre-Algebra test will be required to take this course. Students must make a minimum grade of "C" inorder to enroll in an advanced course. A grade of "D" indicates progress . Doesnot count toward a degree. (3,0,3)
