This course is a continuation of the study of adults with commonly occurring medical-surgical problems. Opportunities are provided to coordinate care for a small group of patients. Clinical component includes medical-surgical nursing, obstetrical and pediatric rotations as needed to fulfill the Arkansas State Board of Nursing requirements. Each student is required to complete a 96 hour preceptorship for this course. Prerequisites: NUR 1219 (Nursing II).
