This course involves an in-depth study on the principles and techniques of embalming. Includes a study of the embalming chemicals used to treat deceased bodies, methods of injection and drainage, and the proper embalming procedures for handling special cases. A practicum is included for the student to assist with the embalming and preparation of fifteen (15) human bodies at a clinical site approved by the College. ( 3,2,4)
