A study of real numbers, both positive and negative, and basic concepts of algebra applied to the solution of linear equations and systems of linear equations in two variables. Students must make a minimum grade of "C" in order to enroll in an advancedcourse. Does not count toward a degree. Prerequisite: Math ACT score of 15-16; ASSET score of 30-35 on Elem. Alg. Test; Compass score of 19-25 on Elem. Alg. or 27-40 on pre alg; passing MATH 0013 with a C or better. (3,0,3)
