Provides learners with the opportunity to develop and practice health history taking and physical examination skills. History taking methodology, physical examination skills, health promotion techniques and clinical assessment tools are discussed. Age related assessment considerations and findings are reviewed. The learner will be able to perform a comprehensive medical history and physical assessment upon successful completion of this course. Spring only. Prerequisite/Corequisite: Current RN license, enrolled in the registered nursing program or instructor's permission.
