Covers the principles of DC electricity. The concepts of voltage, current and resistance as well as engineering notation and the use of metric prefixes will be covered. Students will use basic algebra to calculate the circuit parameters of series and parallel DC circuits. Classroom theory will be backed up with lab experiments. Prerequisite: MTH 0003 (Introduction to Algebra).
