A 16-week course designed to prepare the student with the skills needed to treat the critically ill and injured patient. The semester will focus on the recognitions of medical, trauma, pediatrics, geriatrics, and ob/gyn emergencies. The student will be prepared for the practical portion as well as the written portion of the National Registry Exam. The student will complete 400 hours in the hospital setting during this portion of the program.
