Clinical laboratory course focusing on the application of the knowledge, attitudes, skills and behaviors of the associate degree registered nurse that are identified in NSG 2208 (Nursing Theory I). The student will demonstrate the role of the associate degree registered nurse in caring for clients with uncomplicated health care problems in various health care settings; primary acute care; role development issues, nursing process/critical thinking, IV therapy principles, physical assessment, including pain assessment, community nursing topics and leadership/management skills are included. Corequisite: NSG 2208 (Nursing Theory I). The student will be required to successfully pass the clinical component of Nursing Practicum I in order to pass the overall course.
