The title of the course will reflect the specific subject matter. CHM 1001 FUNDAMENTALS OF CHEMISTRY LAB (0-3-1) Laboratory exercises to strengthen understanding in lecture. Topics include chemical measurements, separation of mixtures, identification of unknown liquids and solids, calculations of empirical formulas, calorimetry, Lewis dot modeling, specific heat, titration of acids and bases and pH. Corequisite: CHM 1003 (Fundamentals of Chemistry).
