Covers the principles of AC electricity. The effects of resistance, capacitance and inductance on AC voltages and currents will be covered. Students will use algebra and basic trigonometry to calculate circuit parameters of series and parallel AC circuits. Classroom theory will be backed up with lab experiments. Prerequisite: MTH 0013 (Intermediate Algebra) and IDT 1114 (Introduction to Electronics).
