Prerequisite: BIOL 223 and 224. Taught outside of nursing program both Fall and Spring. This course provides an introduction to the study of pharmacology as needed by nurses. Various groups of drugs will be studied in relationship to their actions upon various body systems and in relationship to the clients' physiological, psychological, sociocultural, developmental and spiritual variables.
