Prerequisite: Acceptance to the Nursing Program. The focus of this course is the culmination of the study of the care and management of acutely-ill adult clients/patients across the lifespan. Emphasis is on acquisition of clinical decision making skills and achievement of clinical competence. Problem solving, personnel management, leadership, technology and resource utilization skills are developed. The lab/clinical portion of this course include a critical care and capstone experience as well as computer simulation and skills laboratory.
