Prerequisite: NURS 131, 132, 160, 161, 191 and HDFS 21. This course will assist the student to develop a knowledge of nursing care of children from infancy through adolescence. This course focuses on the physiological, psychological, sociocultural, developmental and spiritual variables as they relate to alterations in the child's level of wellness due to interpersonal, intrapersonal and extrapersonal stressors.
