Prerequisite: A grade of C or better in MATH 096 or equivalent from an accredited college or university, or qualifying Accuplacer or ACT/SAT results. The study of equations and inequalities involving radical, rational, quadratic, absolute value terms or trigonometric function terms. Also includes the study of the circular functions, polynomial, rational, exponential and logarithmic functions, their graphs and applications, analytic trigonometry; the coordinate geometry of lines and conics; solving systems of equations; matrices and mathematical induction. A graphics calculator may be required for this course.
