Prerequisite: None Air Base Operations is designed to meet training requirements in the command, operations and planning sections of the Incident Command system (ICS). The trainee is afforded a survey of uses of aircraft in suppression activities and instructed in safe and proper conduct in and around aircraft. Other topics covered are management policy, regulations and procedures governing aircraft operations, tactical and logistical uses of aircraft and specifications for helicopter landing areas.
