Prerequisite: None A survey of major writers and trends in children's literature from classic to contemporary. Writers studied include Andersen, the Brothers Grimm, Lewis Carroll, A.A. Milne, E.B. White, Beatrix Potter and Shel Silverstein. Students may elect to do a creative project: poetry for children, fairy tales or stories.
