Prerequisite: None This is a nuts-and-bolts course on how to start your own small business. It covers the who, what, why, where, when, and how of beginning the small venture. Topics include making the decision; acquiring the capital; setting up the records; finding the location; hiring the employees; paying the taxes; and using agencies and other resources for information. Students will have the opportunity to prepare a small business plan, and interview successful entrepreneurs.
