Prerequisite: MATH 120 or equivalent or qualifying Accuplacer, ACT/SAT test results. Survey of the basic processes of biology common to all life forms. Includes cell theory and metabolic processes, evolution, ecology, genetics, populations, and the scientific method. Designed for the non-science major. Meets the UNR core curriculum science requirement. Three lecture hours per week. Four laboratory experiences throughout the semester.
