Prerequisite: MKT 130. Financial services marketing and public relations of products and services offered by banks, insurance companies, brokerage firms, and others requires an understanding of marketing, sales, service, the Internet, finance, regulation, and psychology. This course provides the basic understanding of marketing through the steps necessary to integrate and grow marketing within a bank's organizational structure. Topics include: marketing research, marketing information systems, developing situation analysis, segmenting markets, evaluating the return on investment for marketing and creating and implementing promotion strategies. This course also covers Nevada Laws regarding marketing of financial products.
