Prerequisite: AUTO 111B or instructor permission. This course introduces students to basic heating and air conditioning systems used in the automotive and truck fields. The student will learn the skills needed to correctly handle refrigerant, recycle refrigerant and component replacement. Diagnosis and repair of the heating, air conditioning and control circuits will be covered. The student may apply for the ASE recovery and recycle license.
