Prerequisite: None This class will discuss the establishment of goals, policy development and implementation of plans for land use in various geographic areas. The use of GIS/GPS systems for data gathering and analytical tools will be discussed as well as their use to track resource scarcity and environmental deterioration problems. This is a lecture class. It is the prerequisite to Advanced GIS/GPS for architects, engineers and planners.
