Prerequisite: MATH 120. This course will introduce students to the basic principles of atmospheric science. The characteristics of behavior of the atmosphere will be studied, with an emphasis on the processes that control weather and climate. Students will gain hands-on experience in gathering and analyzing weather data during four laboratory experiments. Satisfies UNR core science Group B requirements.
