Prerequisite: None This course is designed to ensure success in introductory science classes, particularly Biology 190, the first course for Biology majors. The course covers the basic mathematics used in biological sciences, basic chemistry used in biological sciences, the fundamentals of biology, the scientific method, study skills and basic laboratory techniques. The class consists of 16.5 lecture hours and six hours of lab per semester.
