Prerequisite: AUTO 227B and AUTO 265B. This course introduces the student to advanced engine diagnosis of the computerized engine controls. OBD I, OBD II and CAN/BUS control systems. The student will learn the skills needed to test, diagnose and repair the complex control systems for the computerized power train systems. Special test equipment will be used for diagnosis and repair of the failed system or components. Hybrid vehicle power train and service procedures will be covered.
