Surveys the theory, principles and practices involved before water is utilized for commercial production projects. Studies the microclimate, hydrology, and soil as infl uenced by the vegetation in relation to the regional variables of climate, geology, topography, and vegetation type and structure. Follows the water from the atmosphere, to the ground, and down the watershed to the area where it can be used for natural resources, industry, recreation, and domestic needs. Lab required.
