Builds on prior learning of nursing principles and concepts. Theory and clinical emphasis is on physical assessment, evaluation of nursing practice and development of the Registered Nurse role. Clinical time provides for demonstration of nursing practice, knowledge and skills. Prerequisites: Pass NURS 103, and WR 122, with a 3.0 gpa in the nursing courses and a 2.70 in fi rst year general education courses; or by advanced placement.
