Prerequisite: ENGL 111 with a grade of "C" or better . The course is a study of the influence of science and technology in today'societies. Cultural, behavioral and historical knowledge are used to examine the value systems and ethical roots resulting in current policies and studies. The course will provide an opportunity to evaluate and analyze information to the goal of making decisions based on personal values regarding the ethical, ideological and social ramifications arising from developing technologies.
