A course to develop the skills-music reading, singing and playing classroom instruments-needed by teachers toconduct an effective music program in the primary and intermediate grades. Recommended for elementary education majors only. Lecture 3 hours per week. F, SP, S Applied MusicConsent of instructor is a prerequisite for all applied music courses. Music majors may apply a maximum of 12 credit hours of applied music toward the Associate of Arts degree.
