Prerequisite: Math 153, or a satisfactory score on the Mathematics ASSET (48-51 on the Intermediate Algebra, 32-47 on the College Algebra) or mathematics subscore on ACT of 23 or above. Designed for the non-math/science major. This course contains everyday real-life applications using inequalities, linear equations, quadratic equations, ratio and proportions, radicals, metric system, sets, logic, probability with some statistics and a brief history of mathematics.
