Prerequisites: EMDS 105 or current Missouri EMT?Basic license; demonstrated competence in English, writing and math, and acceptance into the paramedic program. Co?requisite: ALHE 115 and EMDS 201. Scheduled hospital clinical experiences during which the student applies the knowledge and skills learned in the classroom and college lab. The student is evaluated by preceptors during the performance of intravenous fluid and medication administration and basic and advanced airway management on live patients in the hospital setting. The course content is based on the current National Standard Curriculum for the EMT-Paramedic Program. Clinical hours variable. S
