Prerequisite: CHEM 121. A continuation of CHEM 121. This course includes chemical kinetics, chemical equilibrium, ionic equilibria, thermodynamics, electrochemistry, oxidation-reduction, and a survey of the groups in the periodic table. Laboratory work appropriate to these topics including qualitative analysis will also be covered. Lecture 4 hours, Laboratory 2 hours, Total 6 hours per week. SP
