Prerequisites: CJ102 and ENGL101. Course will provide direction and guidance for students seeking an entry-level career in law enforcement and corrections in the areas of written and verbal communication. Provides instruction in reporting factual information in an accurate and proper format. In addition to reinforcing basic writing skills, it will stress the components of typical police writing formats. Students will also explore topics such as interviewing/ interrogation techniques and courtroom testimony.
