Prerequisite: CAD130 or consent of instructor. Course teaches principles of Computer Aided Machining (CAM) and Computer Numerical Controlled (CNC) machining including Wire EDM, lathes and mills utilizing FeatureCAM and other CAD/CAM software. Students will design 3D parts, generate CAM code, tool paths and graphically verify tool paths. Students will develop physical models with rapid prototyping and CNC equipment.
