3 credits (6 lec-lab hrs/wk) Electronic fundamentals including semiconductor device applications, digital/ microprocessor control, computer control and systems. Emphasis on hands-on applications which include using electronic test equipment, computer software and hardware applications, electronic control, schematic and systems documentation interpretation, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting techniques applied to the basics of manufacturing monitor and control. Prerequisite: ELEC101 with a "C" orbetter.
