3 credits (2 lec, 2 lec-lab hrs/wk) This course presents instruction and skill development in blueprint reading and interpretation as applicable in the manufacturing and fabrication trades. Emphasis is placed on fundamentals of blueprint reading, including understanding basic lines, views, dimensions, tolerances, symbols, machine call-outs, and notations. Also included is recognition of detail in manufacturing and fabrication prints.
